How safe is a home infusion?
More than 95.5% of home infusion therapy was completed with no adverse reactions.
Of the 4.5% of patients experiencing a reaction, most were fatigue, skin-related issues, and cardiopulmonary symptoms, which can be managed safely by the nurse or the patient.


What is infusion therapy?
Infusion therapy is often used for chronic illnesses that don’t respond well to oral medication.
Conditions such as chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Myasthenia Gravis, Autoimmune diseases, and many other symptoms and diseases.


How long does an infusion take?
A home infusion can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. Once your infusion has started, you can relax, and your nurse will remain by your side to monitor your reactions throughout the entire process.

How do I start a home infusion?
Therapy starts with a referral and prescription from your doctor.
Most medical insurance will cover a portion of the cost of your infusion. Your physician and
specialty pharmacy will assist in the process of getting prior approval.
